Two children killed in two separate car accidents this week in West Alabama. Thanksgiving week is known as one of the deadliest times to travel on the road …It’s scary to think of but it’s real life and it’s happening all the time in Alabama according to public safety experts. “You just get in the car and you don’t think it will ever happen to me, but we have traffic fatalities almost every single day in Alabama,” said Rhonda Stricklin University of Alabama CAPS Associate Director. In 1837, The University of Alabama became one of the first five universities in the nation to offer engineering classes. Today, UA’s College of Engineering has more than 5,200 students and more than 170 faculty.
