Making a Splash

Perhaps it’s no coincidence that Drew Bullard has found his way to the business of marketing red wine. After six years in Tuscaloosa, the MBA graduate certainly knows something abour crimson. Bullard, 25, spent four years playing football for Alabama. He joined the squad as a preferred walk-on in 2007, having turned down athletic scholarships from places like Princeton.

In 1837, The University of Alabama became one of the first five universities in the nation to offer engineering classes. Today, UA’s College of Engineering has more than 5,200 students and more than 170 faculty. In recent years, students in the College have been named USA Today All-USA College Academic Team members, Goldwater, Hollings, Portz, Boren, Mitchell and Truman scholars.
