A team of engineering students at the University of Alabama is one of six selected to compete in an international contest to design a portable radio system capable of locating a hidden radio transmitter in real time. The UA team is competing in the 2018 Annual Student Antenna Design Contest, held by the Antennas and Propagation Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology.
