A University of Alabama cyber security researcher says it could turn out to be one of the largest internet security incidents ever. Matthew Hudnall is talking about a mistake made by CloudFlare, a company he says protects sites like Uber and FitBit from cyber security threats. “It’s a very, very concerning security incident given the fact that we don’t even know the breadth or scope of the incident,” said Hudnall, who believes the mistake centers around one wrong character in the company’s security code.
