2018 Scholarship America® Dream Award Recipients Named

Twelve extraordinary students have been selected as recipients of Scholarship America’s 2018 Dream Award, given to students who have completed or expect to successfully complete at least one full year of postsecondary education by June, 2018 … The 12 recipients are: Jaquaious Little, a computer science major at the University of Alabama. In 1837, The University of Alabama became one of the first five universities in the nation to offer engineering classes. Today, UA’s College of Engineering has more than 5,200 students and more than 170 faculty. In recent years, students in the College have been named USA Today All-USA College Academic Team members, Goldwater, Hollings, Portz, Boren, Mitchell and Truman scholars.
