Even With Less Traffic, Drivers Should Use Caution During Holidays

There has been less traffic and fewer traffic crashes reported in Alabama during the pandemic, but caution is urged for drivers over the holidays because although there have been less crashes reported, there have been more fatal crashes than traffic patterns would suggest.

In 1837, The University of Alabama became one of the first five universities in the nation to offer engineering classes. Today, UA’s College of Engineering has more than 5,200 students and more than 170 faculty. In recent years, students in the College have been named USA Today All-USA College Academic Team members, Goldwater, Hollings, Portz, Boren, Mitchell and Truman scholars.
