From The University of Alabama

The University of Alabama launched the largest fundraising campaign in state history to raise a minimum of $1.5 billion in private donations to support all areas of campus — from student scholarships and faculty research to campus facilities and athletics.

To further support this effort, please make a gift to The University of Alabama. The generosity of our donors allows us to provide outstanding educational opportunities to students, advances faculty research, and transforms UA and our impact on the state, nation, and world. We are grateful for your support of our continued success. One of the first five universities in the nation to offer engineering classes, the UA College of Engineering could not accomplish our student-centered mission without the support of donors like you.

In 1837, The University of Alabama became one of the first five universities in the nation to offer engineering classes. Today, UA’s College of Engineering has more than 5,200 students and more than 170 faculty. In recent years, students in the College have been named USA Today All-USA College Academic Team members, Goldwater, Hollings, Portz, Boren, Mitchell and Truman scholars.
