After winning first place in last year’s NASA Lunabotics Mining Competition, a team of students called Alabama Lunabotics from The University of Alabama and Shelton State Community College will return to the competition May 20 at Kennedy Space Center.

In 1837, The University of Alabama became one of the first five universities in the nation to offer engineering classes. Today, UA’s College of Engineering has more than 5,800 students and more than 150 faculty.
